Darren Arrowsmith, MBA, CFA

Darren Arrowsmith, Vice-President, Portfolio Manager – Fixed Income, started his career as a member of Scotia Capital’s fixed income team. Since then, he has brought over 25 years of industry experience to his role at CI GAM. Having joined in 2012, Darren is a high yield portfolio manager managing bonds, loans, and convertibles with sector specialties in cable, telecommunication, media, airlines & lessors, and financials. He is also the Co-lead portfolio manager on the CI Floating Rate Income Fund. Prior to CI GAM, Darren was a high yield portfolio manager at Stanton Asset Management in Montreal, and before that, he was a credit analyst & trader at GE Capital in London, UK. Darren holds the CFA designation, a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) from the University of Western Ontario, and a Master of Business Administration from University of Edinburgh Business School.
