Brian Huen, CFA

Brian Huen, Senior Vice-President, Portfolio Manager & Lead – Research Operations, joined CI GAM in 2015. He brings over 25 years of valued industry experience to his role and team as co-portfolio Manager in CI North American Opportunities Liquid Alternative fund and Lead on equity research operations. Prior to joining CI GAM, Brian was a Managing Partner, Portfolio Manager, and Head of Trading at Red Sky Capital Management, a long/short hedge fund affiliated with CI Investments. Before that, he was an Executive Director and Head of Hedge Funds Sales at CIBC Capital Markets. Brian is a CFA charterholder and holds an Honors in Business Administration degree and Master of Business Administration from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario. He is also Treasurer and Board Member at The Heights Ski & Country Club.
