Moiz Valji

Moiz Valji, Vice-President, Portfolio Manager – Equities, joined CI GAM in 2018. In his role, Moiz is responsible for portfolio management for the firm’s US Dividend strategy and firmwide investment research. He brings over 12 years of investment industry experience. Prior to joining CI GAM in 2018, Moiz held a senior investment analyst position at a Chicago-based fundamental long/short equity strategy fund. Earlier in his career, he worked at a New York-based financial institution where he was involved in M&A advisory and principal investing across the infrastructure and power sectors. Moiz holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from University of Waterloo and an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business with focus on value investing.
